Separating emails onto 2 machines

  possum66 14:28 26 Aug 03

In our home we have 2 PC's both connecting to internet via NTL as a dial up connection.
We both have different addresses for email but they both work off the main account.
Is there a way of splitting these so that each machine only receives some of the emails. AT the moment the person who logs on first gets all the emails. I know you can password them so that the other cannot read yours. This is not the proble. We want to be able to file our own mails on our own machines rather than on the machine that logs on firts.

As long as you do have separate addresses you can do what you want. Whilst you are logged on as you Go to tools then accounts and click the mail tab then double click the other persons name.

At the bottom of the screen you will see "include this account when sending or recieving"...untick it. It should work...I think..
