PC/Mac connection to internet

I have an iMac running OS 10.4 connected to the internet by cable to router and thence to modem. Also have a PC running XP and wish to connect to the internet by cable to the router.
How do I set up the two computers and do I need any extra software?

No, the router simply distributes the internet connection to any computer which is connected - use a LAN cable to connect your PC's network card to one of the LAN ports on the router and you'll be able to share the connection.

You don't need to do anything on the iMac.
