hi, how do i find the mac address? as i need to register it with my isp so my modem and router can communicate? thanks

Start\Run. Type msinfo32.exe. Expand Components and then Network. Finally open Adapter. Its in there.

Go into Control Panel > Network Connections > LAN >
Select SUPPORT tab > Click on DETAILS button >
The Physical address is your MAC address - it is usually the top listed line and is the 12 character
code. This is using XP

If your original MAC address (contained in the LAN card of your main PC) was originally registered with your ISP then it will probably be easier to clone this MAC address into your router. This avoids having to re-register the MAC address.
