I had two files with the same name - one in Dropbox (the valuable one), and one on my Mac Desktop. Whilst performing a clean-up, I accidentally did an override on the valuable Dropbox file ('duplicate file exists - do you want to replace contents with other file with same name?'). So now I am left with none of the information I deperately need - is there any way to retrieve it?? Tried doing a deep search using 'Prosoft' Data Rescue software but doesn't seem to be showing anything up (though I've only used the 2GB free version). HELP!!!

Because you have overwritten a file on your hard drive, rather than just deleting it you'll need some retrieval software - take a look at this.
