Kodak Hero 5.1 not recognised by iMac

Hero was working OK then wouldn't print after I had inserted new ink cartridge. Reset wifi info onto printer, all OK, blue wifi light steady. Printer not appearing on iMac, uninstalled software, reinstalled software, nothing in print queue, firewall not blocking. Maybe a stupid question would I have to download driver, although I thought software/driver all one thing. Appreciate any help. Jacqui Ferguson

As you've "reset WiFi info on to printer" and as it's a networked printer, you may have to reinstall the printer in the Mac. Go into System Preferences > Print & Scan, delete the existing printer if shown and then click the + sign to add a printer.

I assume it would be an "IP" printer in which case enter its IP address in the box if it doesn't find it automatically.

Last night I reset the wifi hub. This morning I turned the iMac on went to print & scan and the printer was there, pressed add and the problem is now solved. Printer working fine. Thank you. FergieFromFife
