Installation failure of Windows 7 on Macbook Air

Hi, I have been trying unsuccessfully to to install Windows 7 on my Mac Air. I have been through the process repeatedly, following the Bootcamp Assistant instructions. After the Windows Support Files finish downloading Windows should install. Instead, the computer re-starts in a MS-DOS partition, asking me to insert a boot drive.

I have been through this twice with Apple Care support and they can't tell me what's wrong. They have collected data and sent it to their engineers. In the meantime, can anyone help?

Thanks

Mike
