format mac external drive for pc

I have a lacie USB external drive currently used on a mac.
How do I reformat it for pc use?
At this time it is not recognised by my pc.

Can you format it with the Mac as FAT32 so that its file structure is then recognised by Windows? The option in the Mac's "Disk Utility" will probably be to format with "MS-DOS File System".
