Creating a Games Machine

Hey there,

i wish to create a top end games machine of a budget around 700-900 total spend

i have recently purchased the BENQ G2220HD monitor

and wish to purchase the
*Intel i5 750 CPU
BX80605I5750 - Intel Core i5 750, Lynnfield 45nm, Quad Core, 2.66GHz, 8MB Cache, 95W £155
XFX HD 5870 Graphics Card
HD-587A-ZNF9 - 1GB XFX HD 5870, PCI-E 2.0(x16), 4800MHz GDDR5, GPU 850MHz, DisplayPort/ 2x DL DVI-I/ HDMI £289

but need help with COMPATIBILITY and choice of other key components including superior motherboard, case, ram, hard drives.

can anyone assist me in recommending compatible set ups and rigs within the price range stated?

the main thing is to start with the power supply to feed the pci-e sockets. Some graphics cards need 2 of these and it is fairly rare to get 2 with the power supply. My suggestion for the mobo would be Asus but as for which model I do not have a clue.
