hi,

I am just wondering, can you run a apple mac operating system on a computer that was made for windows, or do you have to have something like a Imac or Macbook to run the os.

Thanks

Ben

Yes you can, as click here demonstrates.

Not exactly legal though.

so, My computer is at the moment.

Windows xp home SP2

128mb ram

20gb HDD

801mhz

So what would i do, go and buy the os off apple.com
and then just stick it in and install.

Would that all work?

i did but do not understand them

Not likely, as far as I can tell there are certain hardware requirements for apple os to run natively on a windows box.

I know nothing of how all this works and whether buying a copy of Apple OSx would make it legal or not, obviously some people have tried it and succeeded and some have failed.

Seems like a waste of time to be honest.

What has been posted (by me) is an emulator. This means that you can make a PC act like a Mac. You download the free emulator, then you can run Mac OS apps. Perhaps this link will be better for you
