Can Macbook Air run dual boot Fedora and Windows, without OSX

Hi, I have always used PCs, and never really used much of Apple's products. But i like the Macbook Air's hardware and would like to own one. But due to my professional requirements, I need to have Fedora Linux and Windows. So, my plan is to buy a Macbook Air, wipe the OSX off and put dual boot Fedora and Windows. I don't want OSX there since i want to use every bit of the limited ssd storage available.

  • Is this possible ?
  • If it is possible, does this run quite smoothly ?
  • Are there any negatives I should be aware of with this scheme of things ?

I am yet to buy the Macbook, but I will definitely buy if this dual boot is feasible.
