AppleApplicationSupport.msi missing?

I am trying to update my itunes and I get a message saying

The Apple software update is not a valid installation package for the product AppleApplicationSupport try to find the installation package AppleApplicationSupport.msi in a folder from which you can install Apple Application Support.

In easy terms where do I get this and how do I install so I can update my itunes

Any help would be great

I have searched my computer for this file without any sucess.

I have found this and downloaded the itunes install to my PC and extracted the file as it says in this.
