Apple Leopard bootcamp Windows?

  PETERSING 22:13 01 Dec 07

In issue 150 in Byteback it inform us that Apple Leopard can load Windows. Does this mean that part of the hard disk is converted to NTFS, and if so will it be open to viruses etc? If so could it spread and infect the Apple partition. Also if you decide to remove Windows from the Apple pc, is there software pre-loaded to do so?
If someone could possible answer those questions I would very much appreciate it.
