I just got a k6-2 300 machine with 64 meg ram and win 2000!
As its loading the network login screen comes up and i dont have a keyboard to type any in.
Only a mouse, the keyboard connection on the motherboard is an old big one.
And the serial card that is is a pci slot where the mouse is plugged into wont recognize the keyboard.
Any ideas how i can get in and get rid of all the network *!@:e.
I have took out the network card but nothing happened.
Any ideas will be grate fully accepted
oh yer the mobo is AB-tx5

Taking out the network card will not prevent the network logon!

An adaptor for the keybaord will cost less than £1.00 or even find an "old" keyboard with the correct connector from a friendly computer shop. As new keyboards can be had for as little as £3.00 you should not have a problem.
