Is a 15.4" Apple MacBook Pro Laptop bought from the USA compatible here in the UK?

It will definitely need a plug converter , obviously the keyboard will be American , some keys in different places , I would imagine that the warranty may not be applicable in the UK . Apart from that , laptops are made to be portable and used in many other countries as well as the one they were bought in .

Yes but it will not have a UK keyboard, no £ sign, some other keys in different places. If you can live with that there are no other problems. The power "bricks" are usually dual voltage, of course you might have warranty problems if it goes wrong. You might want to check with Apple what their warranty policy is.

Actually , not too sure about the warranty , Apple are probably different from everyone else as they have total control over what hardware is used , so guarantee may be international .
