The senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing at Apple, Philip Schiller said, "With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs." Take a look at best cases and covers for the new iPad.

Other than doubling the maximum storage capacity of the iPad 4, the tablet remains completely unchanged with the existing iPad 4 dimensions and specification staying the same.

The new 128GB iPad 4 will come with Apple's new mobile operating system iOS 6.1 preloaded on it.

The 128GB version of the iPad 4 will take the tablet ever closer to being able to replace traditional laptops and PCs, and the new storage option opens up the possibility of using an iPad for video/picture editing on a larger scale. The 128GB iPad 4 will obviously be able to hold more media such as movies, songs and books.
