Google Drive is a new cloud storage service which allows you to store and share files online and access them from multiple devices like PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets. Cloud storage is also known as digital locker.

On any PC or laptop you can access Google Drive via a web browser or a downloadable application. On Android smartphones and Tablets there is a Google Drive app which is downloadable for free from the Play Store.

No, there isn't a Google Drive app for iOS devices yet. Google said it is coming soon.

Google Drive is currently rolling out worldwide so availability varies. In the UK it is not available via a web browser but you can request a notification for when it is. However, the service does work via the Android app on smartphones and tablets already.

Cost depends on how much storage you require. Google offers 5GB for free with a monthly fee for additional space. The following is a list of US prices for Google Drive to give you an idea.
