Best Android apps: Five free apps to keep you occupied between Christmas and New Year

So Christmas is over for another year. However, for those of you that are lucky enough to have the three working days between Christmas and New Year off, you may be close to crumbling at the thought of another day spent on the sofa watching 'classic' TV shows and trying to avoid cramming another mince pie in your mouth.

If you're planning an NYE party, then this app is ideal. It lets you send text invites group events in bulk and even automatically tallies replies.

Free New Year's Resolutions

If you're rubbish at sticking to New Year's Resolutions then this app can help. Simply think about what you plan to change in 2012 and enter it into the app, and updates on your progress so you can monitor how well you're getting on.
