Going official for your Galaxy S4 case is a good option. It means you can rest assured that the case will fit the device perfectly. The S View case is a flip cover but has a window which lets you see key information and notifications without opening or switching on the Galaxy S4.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Flip Cover
If you haven't got the cash for the S View case, then Samsung's standard Flip Cover is a more affordable option. It's a simple, does what it says on the tin type case and is available in a range of colours.
Cases from Otterbox are both popular and reliable, and renowned for their rugged, defensive form factors.
The Commuter series for Galaxy S4 includes silicone and polycarbonate layers and covers for the ports to keep dust and dirt out. It also comes with a self-adhesive screen protector.
The Otterbox Defender Series for Samsung Galaxy S4 case is a more rugged multi-layer protective case – better built than most cases for drops, bumps and shock. The screen protector is built into the case to prevent scratches the glass display.

A bargain option is Case Mate's Tread with is simple flexible design. The case has a textured finish to aid grip and looks pretty cool too. It wraps round the Galaxy S4 giving it protection even when placed screen down.
If you like a bit of luxury you can opt for this quilted design from Proporta which is made from the same material as Barbour jackets. There's cut outs for the camera, buttons and ports and stays closed with a magnetic catch.
If you want your case to provide extra battery life then a good choice is the ExoGear ExoLife. Although the case is quite bulky, inside its polycarbonate shell it contains a 2600mAh battery which gives the Galaxy S4 a full charge.
