Everything you need to know about the Sony Xperia Z
Sony's Xperia Z was one of the most interesting and exciting smartphone announcements of this year's CES in Las Vegas. So here's everything we know about the Xperia Z's release date, price and specifications in the UK. Updated on 05/02/13.
The Xperia Z looks like Sony's best smartphone in a long time featuring a sleek tempered glass design and 5in Full HD screen. No doubt the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean device will have competition this year. We've already seen the Huawei Ascend D2 and the ZTE Grand S, and we're sure there will be plenty of Full HD contenders unveiled at MWC at the end of February.

The only exceptions are The Carphone Warehouse and mobile operator Three which both expect the Xperia Z in February. Of course, all are subject to change.

Myles said: According to the Sony website the Xperia Z will not support the 1700 or 1900 frequencies on 3G or 4G which means pokey 2G data for Americans who snap up the phones through the vendors in this article Theres no reason to believe that they wont release an American version as theyve done in the past I for one will be waiting for the announcement with a fistful of cashSpeaking of cash most of the prices listed above include a 20ish percent VAT tax If youre American expect to pay around 600 plus state sales tax
