PC Advisor has given its Best Game award for 2013 to Far Cry 3. Here's why.

Best Game 2013: winner Far Cry 3

The last big game release of 2012 was flying somewhat underneath the radar even without the difficulty of arriving after all the sound and fury of all those Call of Duties, Borderlands and Assassin's Creeds, but open-world shooter Far Cry 3 turns out to be the best game of the year. Enormous, gorgeous, unsettling and liberating – Far Cry 3 is an unexpected triumph.
