ICT distributor, Express Online, has signed an agreement with Fujitsu PC Australia to distribute computing products, the first time the distie has added a Windows-based PC vendor to its portfolio.
This deal will see the distie sell Fujitsu's commercial tablet and ultrabook range, as well as its desktop and workstation range to Australian resellers and retailers.
The new agreement adheres to Express Online's recently-revised business strategy to focus on mobility and connectivity as Fujitsu PC features a popular range of portable tablets and ultrabooks.
Danny Moore, Managing Director, Express Online said, "Partnering with a premium brand in the PC space is an exciting step for us. The partnership coincides with the release of Windows 8, which has opened up a true mobility play in the Windows environment. Fujitsu has a very strong offering around mobility, and our alignment with them strengthens our own mobility and BYOD strategy."
"Fujitsu compliments our existing product portfolio, and aligns with our own values, as they produce innovative, high quality products, and maintain excellent local service and support."
Bert Noah, Fujitsu PC ANZ Country Manager said, "The partnership will certainly extend our presence and offer to the local (Australia and New Zealand) market. We are very delighted to bring on board a distributor who shares our values to develop a win-win approach."
This partnership also coincides with the revamp of the Fujitsu channel partner program, which allows Fujitsu and Express Online to offer resellers a strong range of benefits through sales and marketing leads and campaign support.
