Panda Security has released new versions of its security software that feature a virtual browser designed to protect PCs from malicious websites.
The new sandbox browsing feature, called Panda Safe Browser, provides a virtualised browser for users to open suspect websites in, ensuring they don't make any changes to the PC.
Panda Internet Security 2011, Panda Global Protection 2011, Panda Antivirus Pro 2011 and Panda Internet Security for Netbooks also include a remote access function that lets you share files across the web securely, as well as a virtual keyboard that prevents password and login details being stolen.
Like previous versions of Panda's security software, the 2011 range comes with Panda's Collective Intelligence system that identifies malware and stores the signature files on an online real-time database. This system then alerts users to the threats as soon as they log on, rather than rolling out updates to each user.
Panda also claims the new security software is 50 percent faster when running on PCs using Windows 7.
"The products are designed specifically for highly active users with the most demanding protection needs, and include many new features," Panda said.
Panda Internet Security 2011, Panda Global Protection 2011, Panda Antivirus Pro 2011 and Panda Internet Security for Netbooks are available from Panda's website now with prices starting from £40.99.
