Opera has launched a new version of its web browser.
Opera 9.6 features an expanded Opera Link, allowing users to syncronise their browser history, bookmarks and personal bar, and access them using Opera on their mobile phone.
The browser developer has also added some features to Opera's built-in email client, Opera Mail. The new low bandwith mode speeds up email retrieval when bandwith is limited while users can keep an eye on their emails by 'following' threads or contacts so they are displayed more prominently in the client.
Opera also claims the new browser will load pages faster than previous versions and now also supports Indonesian, Ukrainian, Estonian, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages.
"The new Opera 9.6 gives more people around the world new reasons to choose Opera," said Jon von Tetzchner, CEO, Opera Software
The browser, which is available for Linux, Mac and Windows can be downloaded for free from Opera's website.
