The combined product is aimed at SMBs that want to oversee complex heterogeneous environments that combine virtual and physical systems.
CA Technologies APJ channel sales vice-president, James Forbes-May, said two solutions together provide fast and cost-effective data protection for SMBs, as well as offsite disaster recovery.
"Data protection requirements are evolving very quickly and customers want to get the right mix of functionality, efficiency, speed and simplicity," he said.
Forbes-May said the timing of the pairing comes at a time when IT organisations are struggling to back up complex environments that use both virtual and physical servers.
The CA ARCserve D2D software and Digistore Solutions Holdings' Centurion iServe is distributed in Australia through Express Data, and is available through authorised partners and resellers.
