Alloys will be working closely with Brother focusing on their mid to high-end colour print range in addition to developing strategic channel partner programs within their print and imaging reseller channel.
Alloys director of strategic alliances, Dave Guttmann, said Brother partners wanted a value-add distributor that specialises in the print segment.
"Alloys' enhanced distribution platform enables us to meet the market requirements of time and place distribution," he said.
Brother B2B channel manager, Karen Gillette, said Alloys will take on its range of print, scanner and labelling products.
"Alloys brings a wealth of experience in providing specialist skills, focus and knowledge in the print and imaging space.
In August Alloys bought Brisbane-based print distributor, Integrex Systems, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition expanded Alloys' sales and logistics capabilities beyond Melbourne, to also include Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
