Exinda Asia-Pacific vice-president, Rajeev Mitroo, said the enhanced partnership with Computerlinks provides an opportunity for partners to actively promote the application assurance approach.
Corporations in Australia are facing rising data volumes across their branch offices and the pressure to manage bandwidth costs is only going to intensify, he said.
Computerlinks regional managing director, Matin Kaddour, said the partnership includes joint business development and co-marketing strategies, as well as the creation of a combined skilled reseller community.
In line with the extended partnership, Computerlinks Australia has created a national team to focus on growth opportunities in the management of corporate IT applications across wide area networks.
It has built on its business development and sales team, with the hire of a national Exinda business development manager, a technical engineer, and a number of account managers.
We now have a dedicated team aimed at generating joint deployment opportunities, Kaddour claimed.
Kaddour mentioned the partnership and company expansion is in line with its vendor expansion strategy.
Our key areas of IT distribution have been in the security, storage and managed Cloud markets. We have identified the network control as the next big growth market as enterprises focus on seeing how individual IT applications are impacting their overall network performance, he added.
He highlighted new growth areas to include mobile devices and apps, Cloud services, Big Data analytics and social technologies.
