Dell is thought to be poised to launch a new laptop that can be charged wirelessly.

The Dell Latitude Z is a sleek grey 16in laptop, which Dell says has fuses design and functionality in a "good packaging of the two".

The machine will run Windows 7 but Dell hasn't released any details about the Intel processor the machine would feature.

However, according to Forbes, the laptop is likely to benefit "advanced wireless capabilities, perhaps even wireless charging".

Dell has yet to release details on how the laptop will be charged. Many believe it will work in a similar way to the Powermat wireless charging device, which uses a receiver attached to a mobile phone case that pairs with the 'Powermat' that is connected to mains electricity.

No availability or pricing details have been released yet.
