Online address searches are set to rocket tomorrow as Brits write their Christmas cards in a bid to get them out before the last posting date before Christmas Day, says 192.com.

According to the online address finder, Tuesday December 15 will be the site's busiest day this year in terms of address searches.

192.com also said that in the first 10 days of December web searches for 'address finders' were up 230 percent on the same period in November.

Dominic Blackburn, product director of 192.com, said: "We all like to receive Christmas cards from friends and family but this year family has become particularly important".

"If you haven't spoken to someone for a while, sending a card at Christmas shows that you are still thinking of them and is a great way to stay in touch with people."
