MySpace is offering free Wi-Fi access at over 7,000 hotspots around the UK.

The free access, which is being provided by The Cloud, will be available until October. After that, social networkers that want to continue with Wi-Fi access will have to subscribe to the service.

No registration is required. Once MySpace users have found a hotspot, they load up The Cloud's homepage and click on the MySpace logo before entering their MySpace user name and password to gain access the service.

"MySpace users want to easily communicate with their friends and discover exciting, relevant content wherever they happen to be," says Anthony Lukom, managing director of MySpace UK.
