As if you needed further confirmation the next version of Android will be called Jelly Bean, Google has put a statue of, guess what, jelly beans up at Googleplex. See also: Live keynote: Nexus tablet launch at Google I/O.
The sculpture is outside the firm's headquarters along with the others including the cupcake, éclair and gingerbread man. Each one represents a version of Android and the latest addition is clearly a pot of spilled jelly beans.
Google is expected to announce Jelly Bean today at its Google I/O conference. Google let slip that the next version of its Android mobile operating system will be officially called 4.1, rather than 5.0 as many expected.
It is also likely that Jelly Bean will make its debut on a Google own-brand tablet called the Nexus, or Nexus 7. It will supposedly be made by Asus and sport a 7in screen, 1.3GHz nVidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and a price tag of $199.
Google I/O kicks off later today so be sure to join us for live coverage via the link above.
