Nyko Technologies' Zoom for Kinect device, which apparently allows gamers to enjoy Kinect titles in 40% less available space, will be available from August 23 for $29.99. The Zoom lets two people play Kinect games in a space that would normally only support one person and will work with any Kinect game.

The Zoom isn't a complex device -- it's just a clip-on series of lenses. As such, it doesn't need any additional power or batteries and is very easy to set up. The kit was a big hit at E3, with nominations for Best Hardware in Show from IGN, GameSpot, Machinima and G4 X-Play.

"The success of the Zoom at E3 was outstanding and we are incredibly excited to help expand the already thriving fanbase of Kinect gamers, allowing even more people to enjoy the thrills of being the controller," said Chris Arbogast, Nyko's director of marketing.

Watch out for the Zoom at Amazon, Best Buy, Fred Meyer, Fry's, GameStop, Hastings, Micro Center, NewEgg, PC Richard, Target, Toys R Us and Walmart from August 23 for a recommended price of $29.99. Canadians will be able to snap one up from Best Buy, Electronics Boutique, Sears and Videotron.
