Sony's hotly-anticipated, third-person adventure game, Uncharted 3, hits PS3 November 1st. And Spong reports that Game Director Justin Richmond says that they won't likely be able to pull off the next graphical jump in the series on the PS3. He explains that even the visuals featured in Uncharted 3 are not as dramatic of a progression as the jump from the original Uncharted to Uncharted 2, due to the limitations of the PS3 hardware.
"The way we made it, how much of the PS3's power we were using... that huge gap that you saw between Uncharted 1 and 2 is the kind of thing that really only happens once per generation," Richmond says.
"But I don't think you'll ever see that same jump again, at least on a PlayStation."
