The penultimate case for L.A. Noire -- the Nicholson Electroplating arson case -- is now available for download from Xbox Live and PSN for 320 Microsoft Points or $3.99 respectively. Rockstar Pass holders will be able to access the DLC for free from today, as will those who pre-ordered from Best Buy.

The Nicholson Electroplating case is based on the real-life O'Connor Electro-Plating disaster of February 20, 1947. On the morning of that day, a huge explosion rocked the city and caused many to believe that a nuclear bomb had been dropped on L.A. 151 people were injured and 15 killed in the disaster.

L.A. Noire's interpretation of the tragedy sees Phelps and partner Biggs digging through clues in the ruined city blocks surrounding the explosion. As part of their investigation, they'll visit several completely new locations, including the hangar that houses Howard Hughes' famous "Spruce Goose" H-4 Hercules flying boat.

Grab the case from today, and there's just one more to come after this.
