PC World shop assistant Madhu Singh, who hopes to follow former CarphoneWarehouse worker and PC Advisor reader Paul Potts as winner of Britain's Got Talent, has been told he must continue working right up until the televised final of the talent show on Saturday.

Singh went straight back to work after being voted into the final on Monday and had to watch Tuesday's show at PC World's store at Heathrow's Terminal 5, according to The Sun.

"He will have some time off later this week to practise. But you'd have thought PC World would have given him the week off," a Britain's Got Talent 'source' told the newspaper.
