Tesco has decided to give an early Christmas present in the form of free broadband for a year.
After launching a broadband package for just £2 per month, Tesco Broadband is actually giving it away for free. There are, of course limitations and conditions but the firm said it has 'fired another salvo in the broadband price war' with the deal.
The offer is valid until 1 December so it's a case of get it while it lasts and the other requirement is that customers take out a Tesco Home phone line which costs £14.90 per month for rental. In return, customers will get free unlimited broadband for 12 months.
The unlimited package normally costs £6 per month so consumers can save a total of £72 across the year.
Tesco said: " With unlimited downloads and fast speeds of up to 14Mb, families making the switch to Tesco Broadband, will be able to get online at a great price to order their Christmas turkey, presents and stay in touch with loved ones."
As well as free unlimited broadband, customers will gain free evening and weekend calls with the phone line, plus the ability to receive Clubcard points on every pound they are billed for.
