While BlackBerry owner have easy access to an instant messaging tool to keep in touch with contacts, the same cannot be said of the iPhone. A iMSN Pro Free enables you to access your Windows Live messenger contacts form your phone and send and receive instant messages.
The app works in very much the same way as Microsoft's desktop program, and your list of contacts indicate who is online and available to chat. Chats are displayed in a view that is similar to the iPhone's handling of text messages, and multiple sessions means that it is possible to easily chat with more than one contact at once.
The app can be configured to sign you into your Windows Live account as soon as it is launched, and sound notifications mean that the program can be left running without the need to constantly check it manually for new messages.
A iMSN Pro Free is slightly limited in that it has been designed as a mobile replacement for the desktop version of Windows Live Messenger and you only have access to this list of contacts. Other instant messaging tools allow for communication using additional protocols, but what A iMSN Pro Free does, it does well.
