DivX Plus 8.2.3

DivX Plus is a power-packed suite of tools that contains everything you need to download, watch, and manage high definition video content.

At the heart of the program is the DivX Plus Player. Completely redesigned, with a new interface and enhanced performance, it delivers high quality playback of DivX, AVI, MKV, MP4 and MOV files. Automatically generated chapters, smooth rewind and fast forward controls ensure that it's now much easier to navigate individual clips. And a full-featured video library manager helps you keep your movie collection in order.

The DivX Plus Web Player brings the efficient DivX playback engine to your web browser, providing excellent performance even on high definition DivX clips. It now supports high definition MKV videos, too, as well as multiple audio tracks, subtitles, and 5.1 channel AAC audio. And there's an option to save local copies of the clips you play, too (though this can be disabled by the website).

Of course DivX know you'll want to use other software occasionally, so they've also provided a codec pack that lets you play DivX, AVI and MKV files in other media players (it even supports streaming HD MKV content to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360).

If you find these features useful then you might appreciate the DivX Plus Converter, which now offers free conversion of 1080p content to DivX Plus HD video.

Alternatively, if you want to take your movie off the PC altogether, then DivX To Go will automatically reformat it to play on a DVD player, gaming console or any other DivX-certified device.
