Reeder for iPhone 2.1

Google Reader provides an easy way to keep up to date with a number of RSS feeds and to keep these feed synchronised between multiple computers. Mark a particular post with a star on one computer, and it will be automatically highlighted on any other computer to use to access the service.

Safari can be used by iPhone users to access their Google Reader account, but the site leaves a little to be desired on the small screen. Reeder is a Google Reader client which makes it easy to read your feeds from your phone.

Unread posts can be displayed by date or by the site from which they originate and gestures can be used to perform common actions. A quick swipe to the left will star and item for reading later, while a swipe to the right will mark a post as read or unread. Part

Interesting feeds can be shared with others via Twitter, or saved for offline reading using InstaPaper or ReadItLater. If you are working with a very large number of feeds, Reeder can be a little slow to update, but this is not ordinarily a problem. The automatic synchronisation and superb navigation make this app and excellent alternative to using the web based version of Google Reader.
