Nero BackItUp & Burn 12.5.01100

Nero BackItUp & Burn is a comprehensive archiving tool with the features to satisfy just about everyone's backup needs.

The program is able to back up selected files and folders, particular partitions or entire hard drives, for instance, using differential, incremental or full backup types. Your backup can be saved to local or network drives, removable storage, optical discs, FTP servers or Nero's Online Backup service (the latter requires a subscription). And it will even back up to multiple targets in parallel, for the best possible performance.

If you turn on Autobackup then BackItUp & Burn will take on the hassles of archiving for you, automatically copying new and modified documents, pictures, audio and video files as they appear while you get on with more important business.

But if you prefer to take more control, then you can alternatively create specific backup jobs and then define every aspect of how they work: schedule, compression levels, encryption, password-protection, CPU priority, email notifications of backup events, and more.

Any backups to optical discs may be protected by SecurDisc 2.0. This adds error recovery information to the disc, so if it becomes scratched or corrupted then there's a chance of restoring all your files.

You also get a variety of synchronisation tools to keep all your devices up-to-date. A bootable disaster recovery disc will quickly restore your last backup if your PC is corrupted and will no longer start. And a calendar view makes it easy to track and manage your backup jobs.
