Vedivi Personal 2.1

Vedivi Personal is a remote access tool that allows you to view your own PCs desktop from another computer, then read your emails, view documents, and launch applications as though you were sitting in front of the remote system.

The program has all kinds of uses. You could log in to your work computer from home, for instance, to work on some important project. If you need to refer to something important on your home PC - a bookmark, a contact name, email address or phone number - then it'll be quickly available. Or you could even just play your favourite MP3 files without having to carry them around with you.

Vedivi Personal is straightforward to set up. Once you've installed the program then it essentially acts as a server, looking for incoming connections from remote users. Create a free trial account with Vedivi and you'll be able to go to another web-enabled PC, use a browser to access their site, log in, and in a couple of clicks you'll be at your own desktop.

This is a 30-day trial version of the service. If you find it useful, and want to continue after the trial expires, then you'll need to purchase a subscription. Prices start at a monthly $4.95, or you can save a little by paying $47.55 for a full year.
