Kruptos 2 Professional 3.0.0.30

There are numerous reasons why you may want to encrypt your files and folders, and there are various methods you could use to protect your privacy. Encryption tools are notoriously expensive, but Kruptos 2 Professional bucks the trend by offering simple and effective file and folder encryption at an excellent price point.

Using the program could hardly be simpler. You have the option of using the right click context menu to encrypt a selection of individual files or folders, but you can also use the program interface if you are working with files that are stored in different locations.

Kruptos 2 Professional uses the Blowfish algorithm in CBC mode for securing data, but the process of encryption can be achieved in as little as two mouse clicks. You also have the option of creating self-extracting encrypted files, and this means that they can be sent via the internet to others. The recipient will be able to open the files without the need for special software as long as they are able to supply the correct password.

Encrypting files is all well and good, but the originals also need to be secured. Kruptos 2 Professional can securely delete files and wipe the disk space they occupied to prevent them from being recovered.

Version 3.0.0.30 brings:
- Fixed a crash bug when closing Kruptos 2 Professional
- Slight increase in speed when encrypting large files
- Minor bug fixes
