Image Analyzer 1.36.1

Image Analyzer is an interesting image editor with plenty of powerful options.

You get the core editing essentials, then, with tools to crop or resize a photo, rotate, flip or mirror it, sharpen an image, and automatically adjust brightness, contrast, gamma and saturation.

But that's just the start. Photo retouching options start with a simple paint tool, for instance, and include clone, spot healing and warping brushes. You get powerful filters to reduce noise, cut shadows, increase contrast and apply all kinds of other actions, and an excellent User Defined Filters option makes it easy to add extra tools of your own.

And there are plenty of expert-level tools for those who know how to use them: distance, Fourier and discrete cosine transformation, various morphological operations, deconvolution options for reducing blurs, comprehensive colour model conversions, and the list goes on.

Although one major problem with Image Analyzer is that, when it comes to the more advanced tools, there's no detailed help at all. If you're not sure what a menu entry such as "morphological operations" means (and there are a lot of similarly technical terms here), say, the best you can do is try the various options and see if you can figure them out.

If you're an image editing expert, though - or just like editors where there's plenty to explore - then Image Analyzer has a huge amount of offer, and will keep you busy and entertained for a very long time.
