Aero8Tuner 1.0.0.0

Aero effects are something that have been available in Windows for some time, but the way it works in Windows 8 is slightly different – it is even different in the RTM version that in the previews. Aero8Tuner is a simple, standalone tool that can be used to change the coloring settings that are used in Aero and more.

The program is very easy to use, and you can start off by selecting which color should be used as the based hue for window effects. Once colorization has been enables, you can use a slider to set the intensity with which the setting should be applied. If you’re happy with the results, you can write the settings to the registry to make them permanent.

There’s only one other setting to concern yourself with – the ability to force Windows to use High Contrast mode with regular theme. For anyone with sight problems, this can help to make things easier to see in Windows, while still giving the ability to use more custom themes.

Please note that this program has been designed for use with the release version of Windows 8 only. If you are using a beta version of Windows 8, a preview edition, or any other version of the operating system, you should not install Aero8Tuner. – it may be found to work, but the side-effects are not known
