Paragon Drive Backup 11 Workstation

Paragon Drive Backup 11 Workstation is a versatile backup tool which provides everything you'll need to keep your most valuable files safe.

The program can back up your email accounts (Outlook/ Windows Mail/ Outlook Express), or specified files and folders. Or if that's not enough, it's able to create images of individual partitions or entire hard drives.

Your archive can then be saved to local or network drives, physical partitions and FTP locations, or burned to CD, DVD or Blu-ray discs.

Individual backups (or even single files) can then be restored from the program itself. Or, if your system won't start, then the program offers three bootable recovery environments which can help, based on Linux, DOS and WinPE.

Significant improvements in this edition start with improved hardware support, ensuring the program works well with SSD, AFD, 2TB+, USB 3.0 and non-512N sector sized disks.

New sector-level incremental disk imaging has, Paragon say, boosted the efficiency of this backup type by 200%.

File level backups can now be encrypted by a password. There's the option to back up your data to an FTP/ SFTP server. Support for working with virtual disks has now been improved, and new asynchronous data transfer means backup performance has considerably improved.

Put it all together and this looks like another solid and reliable Paragon package, in particular when creating disk images (file-based backups are rather more basic). If you need a professional backup program then it's definitely worth a look.
