ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6.0.316.0

NOD32 Antivirus 6 is the latest edition of ESETs antivirus client.

The core of the program works much like any other. Install Antivirus 6 and it'll begin monitoring the files you access and the drives you connect to your PC, detecting and removing any threats before they can cause any harm.

This release also features improved anti-phishing protection, though, and will prevent your web browser from reaching known malicious websites or domains.

The program can now run full scans of your PC during idle time, to help make sure it's free of any threats. (This is turned off by default, but can be re-enabled at Advanced Settings > Computer > Antivirus and antispyware > Idle-state scanning.)

While previously you had to wait until you'd completely downloaded a file before NOD32 Antivirus would scan it, the program now checks them as they're downloading, a real time-saver.

And if you think a virus signature database or product module update is unstable or corrupt, then you can now roll them back to restore normal operations.

Build 6.0.316.0 brings these minor changes:

Fix: Resolved issue with activation in specific countries
Fix: Resolved issue with product icons in virtual machines
