Free Video to Tablet PC Converter 5.0.26.622

Free Video to Tablet PC Converter is a straightforward tool which makes it easy to convert videos into a format (MP4, H264, AAC) and resolution which will play properly on a wide range of Android tablets.

The program supports a wide range of import formats: *.avi; *.ivf; *.div; *.divx; *.mpg; *.mpeg; *.mpe; *.mp4; *.m4v; *.webm; *.wmv; *.asf; *.mov; *.qt; *.mts; *.m2t; *.m2ts; *.mod; *.tod; *.vro; *.dat; *.3gp2; *.3gpp; *.3gp; *.3g2; *.dvr-ms; *.flv; *.f4v; *.amv; *.rm; *.rmm; *.rv; *.rmvb; *.ogv; *.mkv; *.ts.

You're able to choose multiple source videos, so that the program can then convert them all in one operation.

And all you then have to do is choose a quality setting (Economy, Standard or High), and select your target resolution and device. There's support for a host of Android tablets, but if yours isn't on the list then you can use the Preset editor to add it. (This is a little more complex, but only marginally: you'll need to set the target frame rate, bitrate, resolution and so on.)

The lack of specific iPad support here seems a little odd, especially when there are so many video conversion tools which support both Android and Apple devices.

And there's a notable issue on installation here, in that the program requires you to install its browser toolbar during setup (although you can disable it later).

If you don't mind that, though, and are just looking for a simple way to convert videos to play on your Android tablet then Free Video to Tablet PC Converter may be just what you need.
