Dropsync 1.45

Cloud storage services are incredibly popular and this can be at least partly attributed to the increased popularity of smartphones that are able to connect to the internet from almost anywhere. One of the most successful cloud storage services is Dropbox and its desktop software makes it easy to synchronise files between the cloud and all of the computers you use. The Dropbox app for Android is a little disappointing, however, and this is where Dropsync can help.

The app allows for full two-way syncing between your Android and your Dropbox account. Just pop in an SD card, select a folder you would like to synchronise and you're good to go. You can choose between synchronising files only over a wifi connection to avoid incurring data charges and you can also customise synchronisation based on the charge level of your battery.

You can also place limits on the size of documents that should be included in the sync and indicate how frequently synchronisation should be performed - or you can opt to perform only manual syncs. The app works just like the desktop version of the Dropbox software, and this is something to applaud.

By opting to upgrade to the Pro version of the app brings a number of new features as well as wiping out the advertisements found in the free version. But the Pro features go beyond this, affording you greater control over the frequency of synchronisation and also allows for the synchronisation of multiple Dropbox folders.
