Fresh Feed Pro 1.5

RSS feeds are a great way to keep up with the latest headlines and also to find out when a web site has been updated. Fresh Feed is a lightweight feed client that will alert you when your favourite feeds are updated. A menu bar icons provides easy access to post headlines and from here you can easily access the full versions of any stories you want to read.

Whether you are used to working with RSS or Atom feeds, Fresh Feed supports both formats. As you are browsing the web and encounter feeds that are of interest, they can be easily added to the app so you can continue to monitor them in future and receive and audio alert when new posts are made.

Fresh Feed is unlikely to act as a complete replacement for a dedicated RSS reader or even a web based reader such as Google Reader, it is a great way to keep up to date with a selection of your favourite feeds. If you need to keep abreast of the latest updates from a few web sites, Fresh Feed may be the solution you have been looking for, although as a general reader it is slightly limited.

The Pro version of Fresh Feed adds a number of interesting options including social network integration. This makes it possible to share the stories you have read with your friends and contacts on Facebook and Twitter. Fresh Feed Pro also includes additional feed customisation options such a visual preview of articles and there is also support for Magic Trackpad for more efficient feed navigation.
