The number of workers who find themselves sitting with the colleagues they work with is rapidly decreasing as more and more employees see the benefit in home and teleworking. While this is often a great boost to productivity and profits, things can get tricky when it comes to organising meetings.
This is where WebEx for iPad can help, making it possible to hold remote meetings via your iPad. The app can be used to schedule and host a meeting as well as inviting colleagues to join. Mac and PC versions of the app mean that it is possible to hold meetings with others using desktop machines as well as other iPad users.
As well as allowing users to hold voice and text based chats, WebEx for iPad can also be used to share content from a range of machine, so participants can all view the same documents at the same time complete with live annotations.
Anyone using the app on an iPad 2 can take advantage of the device’s cameras to hold group video conferencing sessions. In this mode, you can preview your own video before sharing it with others, and once activated video is displayed in full screen mode with your own video displayed as a picture-in-picture overlay.
