TyphoonDesktop is a useful collection of nine free desktop tools, with the TyphoonTools Premium software suite included as well.
The free tools are TyphoonPassword, a password manager; TyphoonZip, an archiving tool that works with ZIP and RAR files; TyphoonWallpaper, which can automatically change your wallpaper; TyphoonCopy, a handy tool for copying files; TyphoonSearch, an internet search bar you run from the desktop; and TyphoonWand, which allows you to run your favourite programs by making mouse gestures.
And you also get three "Premium" tools, which are all based around an online storage account. TyphoonUpload, for instance, makes it easy to send files up to 2GB in size to others; TyphoonDrive creates a virtual drive on your system that stores its contents on the TyphoonTools server; and TyphoonBackup is an easy-to-use online backup tool.
If you'd like to use these, then after a one-off payment of $49.95 for the software, you'll need to choose your preferred annual subscription plan. This ranges from a cost of nothing at all for 2GB of storage space, up to $240 a year for 300GB - see the TyphoonTools site for more.
